Todd's works capture restaurant, nightlife and Hollywood scenes with contrasting colours, serving the viewer's eyes as those in his stolen scenes serve, or are served, wine, coffee, cigarettes, cigars, martinis, sex, cameras and women. His characters are dominant in background khakis, reds, and whites, creating timeless scenes of diverse attraction, or known intimacy. His creative expertise originated with his work as a professional animator. Now Hollywood celebrities are his clientele. His most recent work attaches little importance to artistic rules. He continues expressing the mood and characters as no other medium can. Prior to working on his own creations, Todd brought to life such characters from animated worlds as Tiny Toon Adventures and Sponge Bob Square Pants.
