Postage & Packing/Shipping

Your shipping cost will be added to the price of the artwork.
The amount charged will depend on the size of the piece, its insurance value, and where we are sending it.
We will be able to give you an exact price when you contact us about purchasing or enquiring about a particular piece of artwork. (Please note: we insist on postal insurance as it doesn’t cost much and it eliminates any problem of lost or stolen pieces.)
Alternatively, anyone is welcome to pick up/collect artworks in person as long as it has been pre-paid.

Original paintings are always likely to increase in value, but as you will be aware, some of these can literally cost millions of pounds. This is why the 'print' market has taken off so much in recent years, as some originals are beyond the financial reach of most of us. Limited edition prints, signed by the artist, are an ideal alternative, and can still make significant year on year gains. Limited edition unsigned prints are only likely to appreciate in value if they are by extremely well known artists, and non limited edition unsigned prints are not likely to appreciate at all.

My advice to anyone considering buying fine art, is to only buy a piece if you really like it. Some people buy art as an investment, but I think there is no better feeling than looking at a painting you really like, showing it to your friends and family etc, whilst all the time it is likely to be gaining value.
