Pino
Pino Daeni, born Giuseppe Danegelico, in Italy, on November 8th 1939, is now the subject of a 165 page full colour art book about his life and paintings. Trained at the Art Institute of Bari, and later at Milan's Academy of Brera, Pino perfected his skills painting nudes and figure studies heavily influenced by the Pre-Raphaelites and Macchiaioli. Pino emigrated to the U.S.A. believing that he would have more artistic freedom and opportunity. He was soon discovered by the distinguished Borghi Gallery, which gave several prestigious exhibitions for him in New York and Boston. Pino's technique, his warm and exciting colours and the subtle approach to his subject are his trademark and the reason why his paintings are in growing demand throughout the United States and appreciated by collectors throughout the world.
