Peter Max
Over the past 25 years Peter Max and his vibrant images have been part of the fabric of America's cultural life. His paintings, graphic sculpture and mixed media have captured the spirit of an entire generation and led to international acclaim. Max's love for America has propelled his images to the forefront of public awareness. He has painted the statue of Liberty series for Presidents Ford, Carter, Reagan and Bush and completed an extensive body of work for the inauguration ceremony for former President Bill Clinton. Other recent projects for Peter Max include his being named the Official Artist of The World Cup Series U.S.A., '94 and his completion of the 150 foot mural for the U.S. Pavilion at the World's Fair in Seville, Spain.
