Melissa Markell
Mellissa Markell was born in Lincoln, Nebraska and raised in Los Angeles, California. She attended Santa Monica City College and UCLA.
Her expressive collage work is created with the use of old books and magazines, vintage postcards, antique maps, found objects and handmade papers. Her work is thematic, telling a visual story and is often historical. Mellissa's work has been purchased and commissioned by many hotels and restaurants as well as by corporate offices and private collectors.
