Welcome to Max
Fine Art
A gallery designed to bring
you the best in contemporary fine art at prices much more
competitive than other galleries.
As with many other Gallery owners, whether online or not, our venture
into this sphere is solely down to our love of fine art. We began collecting
art over 10 years ago, and gradually built up a large and wonderful
collection.
Nearly all the pieces in our gallery were originally bought privately
by ourselves, and most hang on the walls of our home, now waiting for
the next owners to come along.
As this gallery is as much a hobby as a business, you will find that
all our pieces are extremely competitively priced, as we do not mark
our pieces up by anything like the percentages most galleries do, and
indeed we strongly recommend that you compare all our prices with other
Galleries etc, before deciding whether or not to make a purchase.
Many people decide not to buy art online because of the issue of trust.
To help prospective purchasers overcome this, we are only too happy
for personal callers to actually come and view any of our artworks
in person, before making a decision whether or not to buy.
Please note: Almost all of the artworks contained within this site
have Certificates of authenticity.
Feel free to browse through all our artworks, and if you need to ask
any further questions, do not hesitate to contact us.

Original paintings are always likely to increase in
value, but as you will be aware, some of these can literally
cost millions of pounds. This is why the 'print' market has taken off
so much in recent years, as some originals are beyond the financial
reach of most of us. Limited edition prints, signed by the artist,
are an ideal alternative, and can still make significant year on year
gains. Limited edition unsigned prints are only likely to appreciate
in value if they are by extremely well known artists, and non limited
edition unsigned prints are not likely to appreciate at all.
My advice to anyone considering buying fine art, is to only buy a
piece if you really like it. Some people buy art as an investment,
but I think there is no better feeling than looking at a painting
you really like, showing it to your friends and family etc, whilst
all the time it is likely to be gaining value.
